On-Demand Additive Manufacturing Services
ADAPT Technology provides specialized on-demand additive manufacturing services to facilitate rapid product development and innovation in industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, and consumer products. With 27 years of established expertise, we integrate advanced 3D printing technologies to deliver high-quality prototypes and parts, eliminating the requirement for in-house equipment or substantial capital outlay.
ADAPT produces additive manufactured parts on demand for engineering, prototype, and limited production use. Processes include FDM, SLA, SLS, and material jetting. Typical use cases are concept prototypes, design verification builds, fixture components, and low-volume end-use parts, all produced at our Auburn Hills facility or through vetted additive manufacturing partners.
ADDITIVE PROCESSES WE OFFER
ADAPT offers FDM (fused deposition modeling), SLA (stereolithography), SLS (selective laser sintering), and material jetting for parts requiring fine feature detail or full-color output. Functional prototype parts, fixture components, and low-volume end-use parts are all within scope. We advise on process selection based on the mechanical requirements of the part, not on what equipment happens to be available.
Why ADAPT Technology for On-Demand Additive Manufacturing?
Our objective is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective additive manufacturing services with expedited turnaround times and white-glove client assistance. We employ state-of-the-art technologies, including selective laser sintering, stereolithography, and fused deposition modeling, to produce components ranging from simple prototypes to complex assemblies.
Clients benefit from our consultative approach where we provide complimentary engineering guidance to optimize designs for manufacturability. We do not merely print your parts—we adapt to your specific needs, offering free consultations and up to 10% modifications to designs for print jobs by our engineers at no additional charge, ensuring your project succeeds seamlessly. For programs requiring production volumes beyond additive manufacturing, our Manufacturing and Prototyping team handles CNC-machined parts, short-run fabrication, and supply chain coordination, see Manufacturing and Prototyping.
Comprehensive Additive Services: From complimentary design consultations and optimizations to production of prototypes and low-volume parts, all managed in-house or through trusted partners, with free adaptations to ensure project success.
Flexible Manufacturing Options: In-house additive manufacturing capabilities augmented by USA-based and global supply chains for scalable on-demand production, tailored to your unique requirements.
Industry Expertise: Tailored solutions for aerospace, automotive, medical, defense, heavy equipment, tooling, and additional sectors, serving a diverse clientele from Magna and Oshkosh Defense to innovative startups.
