FOUNDED 1998 ON A NISSAN ENGINEERING CONTRACT
Tier 1 rigor. Without the rigidity.
ADAPT was started by Brian and Annette Smith in May 1998 with a contract to train 500 Nissan engineers in CAE workflows. That is how the firm was built. By people who had already shipped programs at the OEMs and the Tier 1s, brought in to teach the next bench how to do it.
The discipline carried in from the floor of those programs. The documentation, the validation gates, the PPAP and AS9102 mindset, the way a supplier package gets prepared so a part can be built and inspected without a phone call. We kept all of that.
We dropped the parts that slow real work down. A small team of senior engineers, on your CAD systems, inside your PLM, owning the package from concept through production release.
